I think that the true hidden oasis in Las Vegas is the Gilcrease Orchards. This is a cider farm, where they grow their own apples, and make their own cider. The true fun is the vegetable and fruit selection available the you can pick yourself. I have taken my family here to pick tomatoes, corn, squash, and apples. The fruit is fresh, and is about what you would pay in the super market, but the experience is important for the children of today's world.
